Combustion mode of gasoline engine:
The task of the gasoline engine fuel supply system is to atomize and vaporize (vaporize) gasoline and uniformly mix it with air in a certain proportion to form a combustible mixture.
Then, according to the requirements of different working conditions of the engine, different substances (i.e. different concentrations) and different amounts of combustible mixture are supplied to the engine cylinder to ignite and burn near the end of compression and release heat.
The gas expands and works. Finally, the exhaust gas in the cylinder is discharged to the atmosphere. The fuel supply system of gasoline engine includes: carburetor type fuel supply system; Gasoline injection fuel supply system; LPG fuel supply system and other mixed fuel supply systems.
Carburetor fuel supply system is the traditional supply system of gasoline engine, which is still widely used, while gasoline injection fuel supply system has been widely used in gasoline engines.
Working stroke of gasoline engine:
Generally, gasoline engines for automobiles have four strokes: intake, compression, work and exhaust.
The actions are as follows:
Intake: inhale the gas in the atmosphere into the cylinder and inject gasoline at the same time;
Compression: compress the inhaled air and gasoline together to make the compression ratio and temperature reach a certain degree;
Work done: When compressed to the extreme point, ignition is carried out by the spark plug. The compressed gas is burned together with gasoline to rapidly increase the air pressure in the cylinder and drive the piston back.
Exhaust: It refers to the discharge of the gas burned during work, mainly carbon dioxide, into the atmosphere.
Through these four strokes, the reciprocating motion of the engine crankshaft is realized.
